REFEREE talks about people, the business of and some experiences that define being a REFEREE.

REFEREE is a book for coaches, athletes, REFEREEs, sports fans, parents, etc. Every major sport is not played without a REFEREE. Basketball, baseball (umpire), football, soccer, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse, you name it. All sports have rules which are monitored and administered by REFEREES.

REFEREE equals judgement, rules, personality, time, money, leadership, sacrifice, diplomacy, humor, family, career, fear, confidence, expectation, goals, enemies, mistakes, meetings, friendships, learning, commitment, passion and the list goes on.

REFEREEing sports is not for everybody! I’ve heard REFEREEs described as good, bad, fair, horrible, unapproachable, too sensitive and many other words that I’ll leave to your experience and imagination.
